Merlini Chanterelle Chanterelles (Merlini Dried Chanterelle Mushrooms) is a very well known wild mushroom, picked and appreciated all over Italy, unmistakable for its pert "trumpet-like" shape and for its nice, uniform yellow-orange color.
These wonderful Chanterelle mushrooms have a compact flesh and rarely worm eaten. They grow in damp conifer woods and leafy woodland.
Serving Suggestions: Merlini Chanterelle Chanterelles (Merlini Dried Chanterelle Mushrooms) have an intense and fruity aroma reminiscent of peach. This makes them ideal for use with cream in the preparation of exquisite sauces and meat stews, especially when pork is used.
How to use: Rinse the mushrooms in luke warm water then soak them in a mixture of water and milk for approximately 20 minutes. Once re-hydrated they can be cooked at will.
