Burrata Rosso with Caviar

Ingredients

  • 1 (1.75 oz) tin caviar
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (4 oz) ball fresh burrata, drained
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 baguette, sliced 1/4-inch and toasted (or 1 parbaked pizza crust cut into wedges)
  • 2 jars Pizza Sauce

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Pour both jars of Pizza Sauce into a shallow ovenproof baking dish.
  • Bake about 10 minutes, until sauce begins to bubble.
  • Place drained burrata in the center of the hot sauce.
  • Make a small hole in the center of the burrata and fill with caviar.
  • Drizzle burrata/caviar/sauce with extra virgin olive oil; season with black pepper.
  • Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or pizza crust wedges.
