Ingredients

  • 1 loaf (1 lb) frozen pizza dough, thawed
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 8 oz part-skim mozzarella, cut into 20 cubes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 small garlic cloves, minced
  • Dash salt
  • Marinara sauce, warmed (for serving)
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes and grated Parmesan

Method

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
  • Shape dough into 20 balls (1-1/2 in.); flatten into 1/8-in. thick circles.
  • Place 1 pepperoni slice + 1 cheese cube in center; wrap dough around filling, pinch to seal, and roll into a smooth ball.
  • In batches, place seam side up in a single layer on a greased tray in air-fryer basket; cook 6–8 minutes until light golden. Cool slightly.
  • Melt butter over low heat; add garlic and salt (don’t brown). Brush over puffs.
  • Serve with warm marinara; add optional toppings if desired.
