Ingredients
- 1 loaf (1 lb) frozen pizza dough, thawed
- 20 slices pepperoni
- 8 oz part-skim mozzarella, cut into 20 cubes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 small garlic cloves, minced
- Dash salt
- Marinara sauce, warmed (for serving)
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes and grated Parmesan
Method
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
- Shape dough into 20 balls (1-1/2 in.); flatten into 1/8-in. thick circles.
- Place 1 pepperoni slice + 1 cheese cube in center; wrap dough around filling, pinch to seal, and roll into a smooth ball.
- In batches, place seam side up in a single layer on a greased tray in air-fryer basket; cook 6–8 minutes until light golden. Cool slightly.
- Melt butter over low heat; add garlic and salt (don’t brown). Brush over puffs.
- Serve with warm marinara; add optional toppings if desired.
