Ingredients

  • 3-1/2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package (12 oz) jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 carton (15 oz) ricotta cheese
  • 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, combine mozzarella, ricotta, spinach, basil, oregano, salt, pepper (and red pepper flakes if using).
  • Stuff mixture into shells and arrange in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish.
  • Pour spaghetti sauce over shells. Cover and bake until heated through, 30–45 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan just before serving if desired.
