Ingredients

  • 3 cups of green beans, prepared to cook
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 4 pork chops, room temperature
  • 15 oz jar of Ceriello Homemade Mushroom Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Set up a steaming basket with boiling water in the base and the green beans on top. Set aside until ready to steam.
  • Heat a medium-sided frying pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt until gently sizzling.
  • Add the pork chops and brown on each side until about 80% cooked through.
  • Turn the heat on under the green beans to start steaming.
  • Pour in the jar of Ceriello Homemade Mushroom Sauce and bring everything to a gentle simmer. This will finish cooking the pork all the way through while keeping it tender.
  • Serve the pork generously coated in sauce, with the green beans on the side. Rice or mashed potatoes make a simple addition, if desired.
