Ingredients
- 1 jar (15 oz) Ceriello Homemade Basil Sauce
- 4 cod fillets (about 5–6 oz each) (or halibut, haddock, or tilapia)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- 1/2 cup pitted Kalamata olives, halved (optional)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or basil (for serving)
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400°F.
- In a baking dish, spread 1 cup basil sauce. Stir in olive oil, capers, olives (if using), oregano, and red pepper.
- Pat fish dry and season lightly with salt and pepper. Nestle fillets into the sauce.
- Spoon remaining sauce over the top.
- Bake 15–18 minutes (depending on thickness), until fish flakes easily.
- Finish with parsley/basil and a squeeze of lemon.
