Serves 1
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 1 tbsp of Ceriello Homemade Marinara Sauce
- 2 oz of cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- On a chopping board lay out the bread and butter each slice. Flip the bread over and start to layer in the fillings.
- Spread the Ceriello Homemade Marinara Sauce across the bread, followed by the cheese. Place one slice of bread onto the top, butter side up to make the sandwich.
- Bring a skillet up to a medium heat. When it’s hot place the sandwich into the pan, butter side down. The pan should sizzle once the buttery bread hits it.
- Cook for around 3–5 minutes, until the bread is nicely browned. Flip and cook the other side for a further 2–3 minutes, until golden and the cheese has melted.
- Slide the grilled cheese out onto a plate and cut down the middle. Enjoy with some extra Ceriello Homemade Marinara Sauce for dipping if desired.
